Renting a car or a motorbike is a great solution that allows you to explore Mykonos at the pace that suits you. A car can be rented for all your stay or just for a part of it. You will find several car rental companies, many of which offer special rates. You will need to provide a valid driving license issued in your country of residence at least one year ago .
Thus, after collecting your bags, all you have to do is exit the Arrivals hall. From one bus station to the other will take about 20 minutes of walking through the streets of Mykonos Town. From the northern bus station at the old port ferry quay, you can take the bus to Ano Mera, Elia , Panormos and Kalafatis. Moovit will alert you when it’s time to get off — no need to constantly re-check whether yours is the next stop. Buses departing from OTE bus station head towards Ano Mera, Kalafatis beach, and Elia. The airport buses connect SKG Airport to Thessaloniki city center and all the major transportation hubs. During high season, there are one or two departures per hour that take passengers straight to Mykonos Town via Fabrika bus station and on to its new port.
